Tourney Now runs tournament brackets, event pages, and check-in for organizers, and collects entry information for participants. This page explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. It's written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
This service is meant for organizers, entrants, and spectators of tournaments and events, typically age 13 and older. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian should set up and manage any account on your behalf, and should review this policy with you.
Account holders (organizers and anyone who signs in): an email address. We don't use passwords — signing in works through a one-time link sent to your email.
Event participants: whatever an organizer's registration form asks for. Typically a name, and sometimes a photo, email address, phone number, or custom answers the organizer added. An entrant's photo may be of a minor if the event is for a youth league — organizers are responsible for having consent to collect that from a parent or guardian before adding it.
Automatically: basic device information (like browser and OS) used to label your sign-ins so you can recognize and sign out of them, and standard web server logs.
Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor. We never see or store your card details.
When an organizer makes an event's bracket or schedule public, participant entries on that page can include: entry name, a second name (for team/doubles entries), photo, win/loss record, and elimination or check-in status. Contact details like email and phone are never shown publicly.
We use a single cookie to keep you signed in. Beyond that, your browser's local storage may hold small conveniences like your color theme, an in-progress event you're setting up, or display settings for a TV/scoreboard view — none of this leaves your device.
We don't sell your information. We share what's necessary with the services that make the app work: our hosting provider, our email delivery provider, and our payment processor (for paid events only). An event's organizer can see the registration details entrants submit to their event.
Contact the organizer of the event you're involved with, or the person who operates this site, with any privacy questions or requests.
